I went shopping with Lana on Saturday at Down the Aisle, the salon where I got my dress. We had a great time trying on dresses, and I even got to try on my dress again! Thanks to Lana, of course- she told the sales lady that I needed to both try on the dress to see if the bridesmaids dresses she was considering matched, and that I also needed a crinoline, because Lana wanted to see what it looked like! Ha! She wouldn't let me take it off either... which is fine by me! I have some cute pictures but I am going to hold off on posting them because...
We took our engagement pictures on Sunday with Daniel! I am holding Lana's dress pictures hostage until Daniel emails me some sneak peaks... muahahah. They are roommates, after all... all Lana needs to do is convince Daniel to send just one! We had a fabulous time taking pictures. We started at Butterfly Beach (always beautiful), took some family Christmas cards pictures with my fam, and then they left us to have fun with Daniel. After Butterfly, we headed over to the Mission, where we had lots of fun splashing in the fountain, taking artsy pictures, and running through the Rose Garden. I'll write more when I have the pictures!
Meredith also picked out a dress! She's going to order some fabric from Down the Aisle, from the Watters line, and have a Jim Hjelm dress copied.
Obviously the dress that she has on is too big, but it looks super cute in real life. I am so glad that she was able to find something she loved!
Also, I finally finished the BOOT program that I was doing at the gym. Things have been going so great- I'm down 5% body fat, up lots of muscle, down lots of inches... I was so excited to try on my dress again, because it fits so much better than before! I have signed up for 3 more months of personal training, and I hope that I am going to be able to continue through the wedding. I made a compromise with my parents- I'll spend less on flowers if I get to keep doing personal training! I think it's a win-win solution!!
I am heading to Santa Barbara in the morning for 2 crazy wedding-filled days- lots of meetings with florists, potential makeup/hair people, and bakeries. Then we're going to LA to see Lana and Daniel (and hopefully our pictures), the newlyweds Tyler and Dale (we miss them!!), my FAVORITE singer Sara Barielles, and to go to Disneyland!!! Woohoo!!
