Say hello to the very talented Mary Anne Knox, of MAK Events and our new wedding planner!
After a brief search for a wedding planner, we stumbled upon Mary Anne and her wonderful wedding planning company. We decided from day 1 that we wanted to have a wedding planner to help us out during the last month, and to take over all the planning during the rehearsal and the wedding itself. Both my mom and I are adamant that we want our guests and family to have fun- not to work before, during, or after the wedding! I spoke with Mary Anne on the phone, and we met with her last Monday at the Museum. Her personality is calming yet strong and professional, and we felt reassured that she would be able to handle anything that happens! She promised that no one in the wedding party would know if the caterer was late, or if the florist forgets something, or if someone jumps in the fountain (a side note: that's a BIG no no!!!! Please don't jump in the fountains!!!). She's also going to help us out over the next several months with ideas, vendor recommendations, and design ideas! She's a Santa Barbara native, and has worked extensively in the wedding and events planning industry for many years.
We are so excited to add Mary Anne to our growing list of very talented vendors and can't wait to work with her through this planning process!
