Get Well SOON!!!

Boy, has Bren had a rough summer! As some of you may know, about a month and a half ago my poor sister and dear MOH tore her ACL while playing soccer for Westmont!

YUMMY! Post- Surgery.

Now, knee problems aren't really anything new to her, because as a soccer player, she's had to deal with more than her fair share of injuries (especially in the left knee- I think this makes 3 surgeries?). In addition, she has weak ankles and is probably going to need ankle surgery once her soccer career is over. As a consequence, she tends to look like a mummy when she goes out to play- ankles and knees all taped up! But anyway, she had her ACL surgery a few weeks ago, and was just starting to recover (a 9 month process!), when some dumb old guy driver crashed into her and totaled her car on Foothill on Wednesday.

By the grace of an angel, she was fine except for some bumps, bruises, and a broken hand. Luckily she doesn't have to have surgery on her hand, and her newly repaired knee escaped without further damage! So, if you're counting, that means she has (1) knee wrapped up in a ridiculous brace and (1) hand in a (PINK!) cast. She's joking that she's going to live in a cave where no one can get her and nothing can happen... Be sure to send her some get well good thoughts or messages, because I'm sure she'll appreciate them!

What a nice color pink. At least it goes with the wedding colors :)

Things like this are a reminder to tell our loved ones how much we care about them everyday. Love you all!! Get well SOON Brenna! However, if you don't, we'll be sure to decorate a wheelchair so you can roll down the aisle in style :).
