T-MINUS: 8 Days

We FINALLY met with our ceremony musicians today!! After all the miscommunication and stress, we got to meet with our lead guitarist, Christ Judge. We're having a Spanish/flamenco trio- two guitars and a violin. We didn't have a lot of requests- only Bach's Ave Maria for my processional- so he helped us pick out some amazing classical Spanish pieces for the ceremony! I am so excited and glad we're going to have them- I think it will do so much to add to the history of the museum.

After that, we headed to the Canary Hotel (where we are staying on our wedding night) to check out the parking situation for the 1949 Jeepster we're borrowing from Clarke and Bob. Since the Canary is valet only, we didn't know where we were going to park it (since only Jacob can drive it- it's got a choke and everything!), but the manager of the hotel is going to let us park it in the entrance way. Bonus points because it has security cameras and someone will be out there the whole night!

Also went to my mom's last dress fitting, and picked up my sister's dress!
We're going to pick her's up on Wednesday, along with jewelry that she's having made. It looks GREAT! So excited! I also got to see Lisa's dress for the first time, and it looks great also!

Apart from wedding errands, we had quite the day- we ran out of gas TWICE and Jacob got a speeding ticket. Honestly... what the heck. The first time AAA came and gave us gas, and we thought we had 3 gallons (or 60 miles)- but apparently not, because we ran out of gas about an hour later again. After an escapade with trying to find a gas can and get gas, Jacob proceeded to get a speeding ticket on Los Positas... right where the cops usually hang out. It just wasn't our lucky day!!
