T MINUS: 14 Days

PICKED UP MY DRESS TODAY!!!!!! Ahh, it looks so wonderful- the seamstress did an amazing job taking it down 2 sizes, and I CANNOT wait to wear it!!! I also dropped off my beautiful engagement ring at the jeweler in SLO, and they're going to replate and clean it. You know what that means? I can't wear it for 15 days... BOO!! My left ring finger feels very naked!!

Also- picked up BBQ dry goods (dressing, ketchup, etc) and drinks, bought an outfit for my mom to wear to the BBQ, retrieved our vaccum cleaner from the Ella house, found some absolutely wonderful pictures from my grandparent's wedding (I had my first wedding emotional breakdown... it's starting!), and made 2/5 casseroles for the brunch on Sunday. We found some great recipes that you can freeze, and then bake the morning of. One of the recipes is a "Texas Style" casserole, and it involves some jalepeno peppers... I itched my nose about an hour ago, and it's still burning. Wasn't a good plan on my part.

Jacob is packing for his big bachelor weekend this weekend! On the list: go-karting, beer, Dodger's game, clubbing in Hollywood. All in one day.... We'll see if they actually accomplish it all! I get to have a girl's day with Lauren and Dale at Lauren's new apartment in LA tomorrow, and we definitely plan on lounging by the pool all afternoon. YAY! Just what the doctor ordered!
