YAY!

Our first RSVPs arrived today!! 5, to be exact!! 4 yeses, 1 no (which we knew was coming). It's REALLY HAPPENING!!!

Also, aisle decor is set. We're doing vellum cones filled with hydrangeas, lisianthis, and camellia foliage. Initially we were going to do them ourselves, but then our fab florist Armando came through and is able to do them for a great price. I'm glad we won't have to worry about dealing with flowers or set up, and I really didn't want to have to assign that job to a friend. Also spent the afternoon messing with our registry (Sur La Table sucks... I moved most stuff over to Macy's) and playing with some RSVP tracker software, that also auto creates table assignments. Basiclaly, you insert a guest and his/her seating preferences (who to sit next to, near, not at all, etc), and then it creates it for you. I'm not really sure what I'm doing, because it keeps putting Jacob and I at table 19 instead of 1, even though I said we were the "VIPs"...but hopefully I can get it to work, because that would be awesome if it could do it for you. We'll see though. Honestly, we'll probably just end up with a huge piece of poster board and lots of sticky notes... so technologically advanced, I know! Haha.

In other news, please keep Santa Barbara in your thoughts and prayers. A new wildfire broke out this afternoon and is threatening the area by my house. We're not under evacuation, but it's pretty darn close (about 1 mile). Knowing the Santa Ana winds, that can mean anything. My mom has the photos packed up and ready to go. I have a lot of friends who live in the evacuation area as well. I wish these darn fires would stop. I can handle earthquakes, floods, and snow... but fires, they scare the crap out of me. Think good thoughts please!!
