Here we come...

AHHH I still can't believe it!!!!!

I've been waiting to post about it because we've (I've) been doing a little hemming and hawing... but in the end, how do you say no to Harvard?! I LOVE the program, and it will put me in the perfect position for my dream job at the end- working for a major arts organization (LA Phil! SF Symphony! Boston Pops!) in their education/outreach/policy department.

I knew that they were updating the websites on Friday the 13th... so I had been constantly refreshing my email all morning. I had to go get Jacob at 2, and I was beginning to lose hope- since 2 Pacfic time = 5 Eastern time. But, at 2:03, an email came through on my phone... and I was at Cal Poly!! I yelled at Jacob to hurry up, and broke about 10 traffic laws getting home. I parked about 4 feet away from the curb, almost tripped running up the stairs, and then the internet wouldn't connect! I was finally able to open the website... and I SCREECHED so loudly that I'm pretty sure all the neighbors heard!!

I've been able to talk to the director of the program and am heading to an open house in SF this Thursday. There's also a virtual open house on Monday. But I am SO excited!!! Boston here we come!!
