Centerpieces and Programs

A quick blog before I'm off to the gym-

I've been messing around with centerpieces and programs the last few weeks. I finally got all the materials for the branch centerpieces and was able to pick up some orchids at good ole Trader Joe's. It won't be on a cake stand, and also imagine various sized tea lights scattered around the table. Sorry for the bad pictures- too much light.
We also decided on a program design! From the start, we knew we wanted to have fans, just in case it was hot. I also think that huge long programs are dumb, because barely anyone reads them and then they end up sliding around on the car floor for 3 months. So what to do? Combine the two!
This is just a mock up, and the real paper will be *amazing* shimmery Stardream cardstock, in quartz (basically just shimmery white). Got 300 craft sticks for $2.99 from Michaels... and the online vendors wanted to charge $25 for "fan sticks". Whatever, we all know that they're just giant tounge depressors. I also fixed the margins, but this is the design! What do you think?

Also, yesterday was our 1 year "engage-aversary". We tried to go to our favorite Italian place to reenact the great day but it was closed!! Boo woo. Still had a great date night at the Club Car, a yummy jazz place in SLO.

Off to the gym!! I'm at 6 days a week, a combo of yoga, pure strength, combo strength/cardio, and pure cardio. About 2500 cals burned every week, plus all that muscle growth! I'm really trying hard to get rid of my "chicken wing" underarm syndrome. You know... it's gross and flabby. Thanks to 30 day Shred, hopefully that won't be for too much longer!
