Getaway

Jacob and I went to San Francisco this weekend as a last minute, post-Valentine's Day getaway! We ate and shopped our way through the city, visited the California Academy of the Sciences, saw the penguins (yay!), drove across the Golden Gate Bridge in the pouring rain, and had some yummy clam chowder at the Ferry Building. We also fixed our registries at Macy's (Jacob didn't like the towels I had picked out at Pottery Barn- they weren't soft enough) and Sur La Table (still not clear on how we ended up with 4 pie pans and 2 bread machines). We did some crazy shopping (eek!) but not all of it was just because... We got:

Crocs to wear during the reception.... don't judge, they are so comfortable!

Flower Girl Dresses! (Sorry for the bad picture- cell phone) This is a huge check- Thanks Gymboree outlet in Gilroy! I knew Gilroy was good for something besides being the garlic capital of the world.

I also got a great dress and hat for my bridal shower, and Jacob got a new suit! Yay for sales! It was such a relaxing, wonderful weekend. We love San Francisco!
