Our jeweler, Serengeti West, is having a huge sale over the next 3 days... 20% off tomorrow, 30% Friday, and 40% on Saturday, so we thought we'd see what they had in stock. The wonderful saleslady (who helped Jacob design my engagement ring) found us a gorgeous prong-set diamond ring, in white gold! It looks a lot like this one, except it's thinner:
I really wanted a band that fit the curve of my engagement ring, because I plan on eventually soldering them together to make one ring. Luckily, the jeweler that made my ring was there, and told us that it would be no problem to bend the wedding ring to fit flush against my engagement ring! We're going to place our bets and wait until Saturday, so we can hopefully get the 40% discount- makes a big difference in the price. Hopefully it works out! I was hoping that the saleslady would offer to hide it, or refuse to sell it so we could get it... but no such luck... haha! We'll be in there at 10am on Saturday morning, so cross your fingers!
