Rehearsal Dinner: Check!

We reserved our rehearsal dinner site! Since we're going to have well over 100 people, we wanted to have a low-key, fun, yummy dinner- so we've decided to have a Fiesta at Manning Park in Montecito!
We pretty much interruped a company picnic to take these pictures. They had a potato sack race set up!!
Isn't it great? It has a full paved patio, BBQ area, kid's play equipment, a volleyball court, and a softball field. Can anyone say Zimmerman v. Swartz Family Softball Battle?

In keeping with our theme of celebrating the culture of Santa Barbara (by having our wedding at at a classic Santa Barbara historical monument), we decided we wanted to have a fiesta- so that means we're either having a Santa Maria style BBQ, or Mexican food!!! And you know what Mexican food means?

That we need to have Jarrito's Mexican Soda!!Has anyone actually tried this stuff before? It's pretty darn good!! It also says, "Hecho en Mexico", which means it's really authentic :). We invited Justin over the other night to take part in our "Mexican Soda Tasting Party", and it was a unanimous decision that all were very yummy, except for grapefruit.

We're looking into some caterers, and right now we're considering Los Arroyos, Woody's BBQ, or Country Catering. All are SO YUMMY!
I may be more excited about the rehearsal dinner than the actual wedding, because 1) we might get a pinata and 2) we can actually have a funfetti cake!
