New Invite Design

So we started goccoing the invite set a few weeks ago... and I realized I majorly screwed up. I didn't take into account the maximum size that my dear little gocco could print without breaking up the image!

So we had to rethink our design. Once I started messing with things, we realized that the tile look really busy... especially when combined with the other elements that we're adding in after wards. So really, it was a blessing in disguise! We only wasted about 30 cards before we realized that printing the tile image was going to be a big pain in the rear.

So new design- sort of. Check it out. Hopefully this weekend will be the printing weekend of our complete set, because my momma's coming to visit! Once again, imagine little rhinestones where the dots are, and (obviously) the swirl will not be purple.


P.S. I hate the post office. They are changing their post rates 2 weeks after we wanted to send our invites out- which means they won't release new stamps until that week. So all of our RSVPs are either going to have 1) two stamps on them (.27 + .01 stamp) or 2) .29 stamps bought off ebay. Grr. Doesn't the post office know that A LOT of people get married in May-June-July- which means all of those couples will be stressed out about how to get the right stamps! Boo on them.
