To Do.

Happy New Year!!! We had the best dinner party last night with Bren, Simon and Kelly and then proceeded downtown for about 45 minutes. At exactly 12:05, we decided we were tired of being downtown, and then sat on the curb for an hour waiting for a dumb cab. The cab company kept telling us "10 minutes", but when they didn't show up after making that promise 3 different times, we decided to walk the 1.5 miles home. In 4 inch heels. Good thing that they had thick heels, that I decided not to be a skank and wore tights, a wool coat, and a non-skanky dress, and that we had had a lot of wine at dinner, or I am sure it would have been a lot more painful than it actually was.

So you know what 2009 means? We're getting married THIS YEAR!! Yahoo!! I realized today that our wedding is just about 6 months away which means... I just spent the last hour brainstorming with Jacob and making a To Do List. I am pretty sure I am missing about 100 things.

All I have to say is... dear god/buddha/spiritual life force/messiah/whatever, please help us.

At least I get to see my dress tomorrow. 2pm!! Yippee!! I am sure that it is going to be a wake-up call that I need to do cardio every day (not just only strength training), and that I need to focus on eating lean proteins, veggies, and lots of water. No more of this chocolate cake o'death and yummy steaks business. And my momma is coming for a visit. Maybe she'll help relieve some of this ridiculousness.

DO NOT USE CLASSIC unless you want to say "goodbye" to your security deposit - I've made A LOT of money because of them (Classic was the rental company that made me work almost 20 STRAIGHT hours). If it's too late, make sure to add a clause to the contract stating that Classic is responsible for covering any secuirty deposit deductions if they are late getting offsite.
