More (perhaps unecessary) DIY Fun!

So during a visit to the Museum about a month ago, I noticed something wonderful: our guests will cross the street from the parking lot, and will enter through 2 iron gates.

Doesn't sound so wonderful to you? Well to ME it sounds like another DIY craft project waiting to happen!

I came across this wonderful, easy-peasy, craft project on one of my favorite Knot Bios (another wedding website, where women can post descriptions and reviews of their wedding vendors) and I have been itching to do it since then! Seriously, this lady is my inspiration- I LOVE everything that she did! But I didn't think that we had any where to hang these lovelies... until I saw the gates!

So what do 2 wooden letters, 11 silk hydrangeas, lots of hot glue, and approximately 6 burns on fingers and my leg (I know, how does that happen...) create?

I'm going to attach a pretty ribbon onto them, and then tie them onto each gate. Unecessary? Probably. So much fun and one of those awesome little details I just couldn't pass up? Absolutely!!
