A Few More Dresses

Bren, Lana, and I went bridesmaid dress shopping again last week and instead of the hideous dresses from our last trip, we actually found a few things that might work! Thoughts anyone? P.S. Sorry for the bad quality of some of the photos- I got to the bridal store, turned on the camera, and saw "NO MEMORY CARD" flashing at me... oops. Thank goodness for the iPhone!

I've also been working really hard on my major invitation craft project! I'm glad I'm starting now, because at this rate, it's going to take until April... Most of the paper and envelopes have come in the mail, and I actually ended up exchanging my original sewing machine for one with a little more power. I was so frustrated with my $90 special that Maverick ran downstairs and hid under the bed as I yelled at it. I upgraded to the fancy model, and it worked out of the box! What a concept! Maverick actually sat next to me on the couch as I was sewing this time. What a change!

The great dress hunt is... well, still the great dress hunt. I went back to Mary Linn's Bridal with Meredith, her friend Bre, Lana, and Bren last Saturday and actually found another dress that they all liked better. I'm just not totally sold yet. They all agreed that this new dress was much better than the other one, so now I'm just confused. I wish I could show Jacob because his opinion is the one that matters! Darn tradition and superstitions. We're going to try the SLO area stores next... maybe the perfect dress is there. The wild goose chase continues....
