Photographer <3

So I have lots of updates, but the best is going to be saved for last... mostly because Jacob has the camera in his car, and he's at school! :)

First things first: We found a photographer!! Yes, we're booking our photographer before we book our site... haha. Well, we do things a bit backwards. We met with Andrew Van Gundy on Sunday morning and absolutely LOVED him! I had found him on Santa Barbara Weddings and had also seen his photos on Facebook (a few people that I went to high school with have used him for their recent engagement photos) and fell in love with his photography. Jacob and I both decided that photography was one area that we didn't want to skimp on... because after the day is over, the photos are all that you have left! We scheduled a meeting with him, and had a great time. He showed us lots of photos, described his packages, and talked about his philosophy in shooting weddings- we totally got along from the start. He has a unique, creative style that documents weddings in such a beautiful way. The best thing? His prices were extremely reasonable! We get unlimited hours of shooting, two photographers, unlimited photos, an album, a website, a slide show at the reception, and a few more things. We both walked out of the meeting saying, "Can we book him now!?" I can't wait to have him as our photographer- the photos are going to be amazing! Here are some samples of his work:
